Meet the Chef
Chef Terri spent significant time in the kitchen with her extended family as a child where she learned the art of Italian cooking. After graduating from Tufts University with a BFA in Fine Arts she pursued a career in the culinary arts working at various high-end establishments in the Boston area. She then received her culinary degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has also taken additional courses in France, Tuscany and New York to expand her cuisine range. She subsequently opened her own catering company in Boston acting as owner and head chef for close to 10 years, hosting events from private dinners to weddings for 200.
During a vacation in the Bahamas, she was randomly asked to take a position as a chef on a Yacht for a day charter and her career in Yachting began. It was the perfect fusion for her love of the sea and passion for cooking. She has mastered local dishes in the Caribbean and loves to work with native fruits, meats, fishes and vegetables. She takes pride in her presentation and continually attempts to impress guests’ palates. Her yachting experience has taken her all over the world where she continually refines her knowledge to bring a five star experience to her guests.
Now land based in Fort Lauderdale she is bringing Gourmet-at-Home to Southern Florida relaunching her expertise as a personal chef and caterer. Her made to order items are based on recipes she has refined during her time on yachts catering to the rich and famous. She now offers her Gourmet-at-Home services and products to you.
